Changes in soil moisture are sent to the visual display and activate the flip dots or “coins.” The number of visible yellow coins indicates how wet or dry the soil conditions are.

A gypsum block is placed directly in the root zone and within seconds will adjust to the surrounding soil moisture. The changes in soil moisture are sent to the visual display. The number of yellow coins indicates how wet or dry the soil conditions are. All seven coins are flipped for very wet soil, and one or none for very dry.
