The SDI-12 Sap Flow Sensor will bring the measurement functionality of the SFM1 and SFMx Sap Flow Meter to an SDI-12 compatible sensor for the measurement of plant water use.
- Plant water use measurement (in litres), for crops and trees
- Available in SDI-12 (v1.4) or RS485 for use common SDI-12 data loggers
- Exchangeable needles for different crop and plant applications
- Applications include irrigation scheduling, species selection, plant ecophysiological studies, climate change and forest carbon stock estimation
The SDI-12 Sap Flow sensor brings the proven Heat Ratio Method to an SDI-12/RS-485 sensor. Including the advanced features from the SFMx to minimise power consumption, the SDI-12 Sap Flow Sensor is compatible with common data loggers that use SDI-12 V1.4.
